So I deleted old back ups from Time Machine, and started deleting these from the Bin. Ninox forum how to#
Unfortunately, when I did lose some data last night and happily went to use Time Machine to retrieve it, I discovered that I have no idea where to locate the Ninox database/s or how to point the Time Machine in the correct direction.Ī similar question has been asked before, but I don’t see any information that answers the question - and as one of the replies/comments stated - the Ninox forums seem rather confused about how to find the database on a Mac iCloud (A few answers include attempting coding and all kinds of things a non-techy mere mortal like me is unable to fathom.)

I was delighted to have (eventually) found a really good database to use on Mac - and as I have Time Machine running, I presumed earlier data would be retrievable if there were any problems with data loss or corruption. I think it is on iCloud on my Mac, but it may be on Dropbox on my Mac. I chose to store the data online so I can keep it synced with my various devices. Ideally, there should be a simple pathway to databases that is clear and which I am able to use in conjunction with Time Machine to restore an earlier version of the database. I can’t even figure how to perform a “Get info” search that would show the pathway to my Ninox database.
Ninox forum software#
Am asking this question because Apple appears to store the database/s in an obscure and difficult to locate position when installing the software ?.
